While the bear special effect definitely needed help it's a pretty fantastic movie for the whole family. Definitely one of those types of movies that you remember from your childhood and want desperately. It was definitely worth purchasing and my kids love it.

VHS : Send Me No Flowers
After directing Doris Day in 1963's still-hilarious The Thrill of It All!, Norman Jewison showed similar comic sensibilities with this screwball 1964 marital farce complemented by a sharp screenplay by longtime veteran Julius Epstein. This one represents something of a departure in that Day and Rock Hudson, in their third and last pairing, play a married couple from the outset. As George and Judy Kimball, they are a happily married suburban couple hamstrung by his persistent hypochondria. Convinced that he is dying after ... Read More:

VHS : None But the Brave
None But The Brave is a fun & entertaining movie, and i'm so happy it was finally released to DVD. But what's the deal with the subtitles? If you choose to turn them off, you can't see what the Japanese are saying, and my Japanese is pretty rusty to say the least. If you turn the subtitles on however, you can see what the Japanese are saying, but then are forced to read what the Americans are saying as well. It's basically an 'all-or-nothing' deal, and it's somewhat distracting to the movie itself. I own the VHS version ... Read More:

This film should get five stars for scenery alone. I enjoyed the romp though the jungle with Jay North and his friend. Clint walker played the dad and very true to character. The boys try to get a whitebaby elephant through the jungle to...anyway you like Tarzan, you will really like this.

Humanoids From the Deep
ok there are like 4-5 reviews on this film and being a big fan of the original corman classic i feel this film does not live up to the original.its watchable but the original has a cult status that is insane and will live on in infamy.
however in all of the reviews of this classic remake i have not heard any mention of the final scene where the monsters come out of the sea and attack the fishing village during the cumminity fair was the same exact footage from the original corman classic, they just inserted ... Read More:

The poorly written, weak story line, and lack of direction left me with a strong feeling that I truly wasted my time watching this movie. Good actors with poor acting didn't help either. I think that the director must have been out of town that week.

VHS : Twisted Love
Life couldnt be perfect for the two love birds played by Mark Paul Gosselaar (Dead Man On Campus, Saved By The Bell) and Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster, I Love The 80's)...but after a accident Gosselaar's world goes to hell as an obsessive pyschobitch, Lisa Dean Ryan, wants more then to help and aid him. It's like the Misery for teens. The only thing I hated about this is that Gosselaar was killed...why kill him? That mad me mad because his character was likable and I felt what he was going through and then she had to kill him...argh. Anyway it was somewhat ... Read More:
