I have seen this movie once on ABC. I loved it. Then I searched for hours on amazon because I couldn't remember the name. I finally found it and have searched on different occasions for a DVD version. This is a must see for all families. I hope it comes out on DVD soon!!

VHS : Now & Then
Now and Then is a coming-of-age tale following the lives of four pre-teen girls. This film mostly takes place in the past rather than the present, this film should've been called Then and Now. Christina Ricci and Gaby Hoffman have the best character development and depth. Demi Moore is the only adult character that seems affected by past hurts and trials from her childhood. Melanie Griffith continues to play the bimbo, she is so much smarter than that! Good film but not a home run.

4.Mermaids starring: Cher, Bob Hoskins, Winona Ryder, Michael Schoeffling, Christina Ricci

VHS : Mermaids
If you want to know what Mermaids is all about plot-wise, there are dozens of reviews to tell you that, but as for me, I'm here to gush praises on one of my favorite movies ever! When I was a teen I loved this movie to death! I saw it a few weeks back and you know what, it's still pretty much wonderful! When I think of this film I think of the good old days, not the pre-upheaval 1960's Mermaids depicts, I mean my own good old days of the early '90's when I'd watch this movie all the time, and life was so darn ... VHS : Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas
It's good. I enjoy it. A lot. That is, I enjoy it more than a little. It's good. Funny. Rather humorous. I recommend it.

6.Ice Storm starring: Kevin Kline, Joan Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Henry Czerny, Tobey Maguire
directed by: Ang Lee
October 13, 1998
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Ice Storm
The Ice Storm directed Ang Lee is a strange and provocative film about swingers and families on the brink of chaos. An all-star helps which include Kevin Kline, Joan Allen, Tobey Maguire, and Christina Ricci. The characters are mainly lost and self-absorbed so don't expect strong and kind people here. Ricci's character is pretty sick and vile but she nails the performance. The ending is a bit of a letdown, this film is a mixed bag for me.

7.Bastard Out of Carolina starring: Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ron Eldard, Glenne Headly, Lyle Lovett, Jena Malone
directed by: Anjelica Huston

VHS : Bastard Out of Carolina
I was born and raised in South Carolina in 1953 but left when I was sixteen years old...so I thought it might be interesting to watch this movie. I was wrong. This movie is really not a pleasant movie to watch. But for the fact that it is supposed to be based on fact, I am not sure I would find watching it of any worthwhile value. It reminded me of the movie, Rosewood. Truth or not, I mean what's the point to making movies of this stuff.

8.Sleepy Hollow starring: Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson, Michael Gambon, Casper Van Dien

VHS : Sleepy Hollow
My sister and I love Halloween, and this movie is a perfect one to watch to get in the appropriate spirit. In addition to fine acting, the special effects and artistic rendition of Sleepy Hollow is classic Tim Burton. Fabulous!

9.Addams Family Values starring: Christine Baranski, Joan Cusack, Julie Halston, Harriet Sansom Harris, Christopher Hart

VHS : Addams Family Values
My parents told me this is the 1st movie I saw at the theatre. I don't remember it. This is an awesome sequel! Baby Pubert is so cute, and Wednesday and Pugsley are trying to kill him, but they fail. Gomez and Morticia hire Debbie Jellinsky to be a nanny. Fester begins to fall in love with Debbie, but she just wants his money. She sends the kids to Camp Chippewa, where everyone is too happy. After Debbie and Fester get married, Fester later finds out that she's trying to kill him. When I was a kid, I always had a crush on Debbie because she is hot! ... Read More:

VHS : The Opposite of Sex
Christina Ricci is wonderful in this early movie. Some reviewers have criticized the performance of Lisa Kudrow, but I thought she added greatly to the story line.
