I had to review this movie for on of my graduate classes. I had seen it in the past, but did not remember all of the details. I really enjoyed seeing it for the second time.

VHS : Almost Heroes
I always thought that this was a very funny movie. It makes fun of historical events. Leslie Edwards and Bartholomew Hunt and others try to beat Lewis and Clark to the Pacific. A lot of hilarious things happen, like Chris Farley trying to get the egg of an Eagle for his friend, before he dies. Chris gets hungry and cooks the egg, then he has to go up the tree again. This was Chris Farley's last movie, and it is one of his best movies! If you love comedy, and Chris Farley, you'll love ALMOST HEROES!!!

A rare case of where we may have enjoyed this movie more than the original. At the very least, it's a remake worth watching compared to most Hollywood re-runs.

VHS : Hannah & Her Sisters
Hannah and Her Sisters is Woody Allen's third best film (Annie Hall and Manhattan are 1 and 2) I liked this film, it is quirky and touching. The best performance goes to Dianne Weist, she is such a natural, she's cute and refreshing in this film. Michael Caine is also good as well, I just wish Mia Farrow wasn't in this, she brings down the film with her sour facial expressions. Lovely romantic comedy for new and old fans of Allen's work.

VHS : Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: Pilot Episode
For all of you who aren't familar with The adventures of Brisco County Jr, it's okay. I'll let it slide seeing as though it has not ever been very popular and has been taken off the air years ago. I grew up watching Zoro on Friday nights and at some point in the early 90's Rin Tin Tin (which was on after) was replaced by Brisco. My family and I were hooked. It is an awesome combonation of pop-culture comedy, gun slingers and outlaws.
The show is based on an amazingly convienent killing of Brisco County SR., by a large gang of outlaws. ... Read More:

VHS : Broadcast News
Wildly witty and richly textured with raw human connection; James L. Brooks' comedic masterpiece `Broadcast News' is most definitely one of a kind.

Well, talk about spilling it all in the opening sentence. I don't even know how to follow that up.

The film centers around three working bodies. You have Tom Grunick, the pretty boy turned TV-Reporter who is embittered with himself for being too good. He has a knack for something that he doesn't quite understand and it causes him to feel less than deserving; but it's apparently ... Read More:

VHS : Hero
Hero with Dustin Hoffman,is an excellent and highly entertaining film.
It is sad that I had to search high and low to find this film, as it is no longer at Blockbuster type stores to rent or available to purchase in Chain retailers, so I am thankful that Amazon had it available for me to purchase.
This movie's main characters are all very unlikely heros but turn out to be way more then we the viewer could ever imagine them to be. A plane crash sets a chain of events into motion that create the opportunity to teach many lessons in this film, some obvious ... Read More:
