VHS : The Princess Bride
Let me say this first and foremost, my boyfriend told me about this movie while walking to the library one day. At first, I told him I didn't want to see it, but he insisted that I should give it a try and afterwards tell him how I felt about it. So, I said O.K. and borrowed it for the weekend. And there I was, sitting in the living room with my boyfriend, watching the Princess Bride. Robin Wright plays the serious, deadpan Princess Buttercup, Cary Elwes plays the poor, lame, non-acting farmer/pirate ... Read More:

VHS : Little Men (1997)
This movie was a grave disappointment to me, but perhaps that is because I first saw the television series "Little Men" (now available here at amazon.com on VHS/DVD). I thought Mariel Hemingway's portrayal of Jo Bhaer was deplorable - no emotion, no spunk...no personality. The boys were entertaining at times, but with Jo being so bland and cardboard-like, the movie was terrible. I recommend purchasing the TV show "Little Men," but beware that there is no Fritz Bhaer on the show. Being a L.M. Alcott enthusiast, ... Read More:

VHS : Dark Tide (Unrated)
Brigitte Bako reminds me of Jennifer Love Hewitt, so there's the immediate attraction for me. My interest in Dark Tide was piqued when I saw a trailer for this movie on another video. Couldn't find it to rent anywhere, but thanks to Amazon they carried it. If you've seen The Deep starring Jacqueline Bisset, or Wet Gold starring Brooke Shields, this is a similar type of movie.
Chris Sarandon and Brigitte Bako are lovers and scuba divers, collecting highly poisonous sea snakes they milk of their venom, which is used for ... Read More:

VHS : Goodbye Miss 4th Of July
We just picked this movie up kind of by accident at the movie rental store, but it was excellent. It's a very beautiful story with some significant ideas and a great portrait of the World War I era.

VHS : Tale of Two Cities: Literary Masterpieces
I was impressed by the dual act of Chris Sarandon.

I took one star because the movie did not show much of the characters' passion!

Two men are in love with one woman. It would be hard for her to choose so one of them scarified himself for her happiness. The movie ends with her tears (Alice Krige) as she discovers his true feelings and the sacrifice he made.

It remains one of my favorite movies!

8.Temptress (1994) starring: Kim Delaney, Chris Sarandon, Corbin Bernsen, Dee Wallace, Ben Cross

VHS : Temptress (1994)
This is a great movie and keeps you guessing on how it will end. Kim Delaney is absolutely captivating as a true Temptress. It is appropriately named.
