VHS : We're Back: Dinosaur's Story (Slip)
I was 5 when it came out, and it instantly became my favorite movie. For some reason, this movie popped into my head the other day, and i decided I had to get it. I can't wait to see it again. I just hope it is as good as I remember it to be.

IN A NUTSHELL: DOES WHAT A TIME TRAVEL MOVIE IS SUPPOSED TO DO!

This sequel of the superb "Back To The Future" is a very earnest attempt to follow a winning formula up with a truly worthwhile effort in this sequel. Complex, yes, but interesting. Unfortunately, at times it gets a bit too mechanically contrived with the time sequence derivations, and I find myself mentally checking the continuity which detracts from the theme. Nevertheless, if you liked the first "Back To The Future" you will probably ... Read More:

VHS : Who Framed Roger Rabbit
This is a very inventive, technically brilliant cartoon. It has a lot of incredibly funny scenes and a great many superb comic in jokes.

For the time this was made, the special effects are stunning. This is a great piece of entertainment.

VHS : Balto II - Wolf Quest
We like Balto 2 a lot -- even without having seen Balto 1. Our local library only has Balto 2. But we have watched it probably about 8 times by now, and it holds her attention every time. I find it a lot less annoying than most kids animated movies (such as most Disney). It does have some pretty scary scenes, which young kids will definitely need some kind of adult guidance to work through -- for instance, a bear with red eyes suddenly appears and attacks Alue; and there are some fierce wolves, both spirit wolves and real wolves. ... VHS : Die Laughing (1980)
Calling this movie terrible is an understatement. Who the heck is Robbie Benson? Judging by this movie, in which he stars, co writes, co produces and composes it's all too obvious why you haven't heard of him. The 'barber shop' folk song at the beginning will have you ejecting your lunch, you almost wish Jason Voorhees would show up and hack him to pieces. I've seen a lot of lousy movies in my time. This ranks as one of the worst.

VHS : Best of Roger Rabbit
This is better than "Oswald The Lucky Bunny" (Wich Walt Disney STOLE for the design for Mickey!). It is just simple slapstick but that is all you really need in a Roger Rabbit cartoon. In the third cartoon is where the problems started, a five second spoof of Jaws caused Disney to stop creating those shorts. In all the cartoons, if you have a good VCR you will find several hidden images

VHS : Bone Chillers: Back to School
The first episode is really good. The basic plot is that the new cook, Mrs. Larva Webb (the episode is about bugs. Get the subtle pun?) is making this really good food. Unfortunatly, it's packed with ants and various other creepy critters. This is fine entertainment, provided you can stand people, say, barfing up larvae. But the second one kind of .... Oh well, you've got to chronicle the good with the bad (It's about the new sub who becomes an evil frog thing after eating toxic frog eggs. In the book, he's blown to the town in a hurricane. Don't ask.)
