VHS : Home Alone
The plot in "Home Alone" is clearly improbable, but that doesn't detract one whit from the appeal of impish (but sometimes adult far-beyond his years) Macaulay Culkin, bumbling Joe Pesci, and the rest of the cast. And, like Aesop's Fables, the film has a moral and a heartwarming tone. It's just not possible to dislike this film.

My family and i absolutely LOVE this movie! We can't get enough and my girls go around the house singing the tunes and listening to them again online. Bound to be a classic in my opinion! Great creativity!

VHS : Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York
People look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them that this is my favorite of the Home Alone films. Well whatever. The main reason that I like this movie is because of the way they portray New York's best sights like Central Park, etc. Whereas the first movie kept most of the scenes at his home, this one explores other scenery. And the cast is hilarious. My favorite character (aside from Kevin)is the bird/homeless woman who ends up being a sweetheart. I always choke up at the end when she and Kevin hug ... Read More:

VHS : Pippi Longstocking (1997)
It's been 10 years ago since they brought Pippi Longstocking to life in the world of animation. I first saw this when I was 14, and I've already loved her ever since then. I've also read her books. Astrid Lindgren is an excellent author.

You may not know this, but there is also an animated TV series of Pippi Longstocking as well. Since Pippi was brought to animation 10 years ago, there should be a 10th anniversary special edition DVD of the movie which includes extras such as behind-the-scenes ... Read More:

VHS : Tall Tale: Unbelievable Adventure
TALL TALE has the potential to be an excellent film. The possibilities of a tall tale adventure with Pecos Bill, Calamity Jane, Paul Bunyan, and John Henry should be great. This isn't.
The two stars I gave it are for two performances that head and pretty good cast and the music by Randy Edelmen (the genius behind GETTYSBURG's score). Patrick Swayze is an excellent actor, and now I fully appreciate his ability to turn a complete dud of a role into gold. He takes the role of Pecos, a shallow character, ... Read More:

This is a good movie! When I saw the couple held hostage by the convicts I had the urge to change into a superheroine. Even Kim Possible can put those guys in handcuffs, and take them to jail.Rufus can, bite their nose,so can Ron,Kim's too much of a lady.

Come on now. how can you make a 20th anniversary deluxe edition without having the original version. Not to say it is not a great movie but hey there is no need to edit the movie just so you can show it on disney channel. I mean no offense but did the producers of this movie say hey why not edit it like a CD so we can sell it at walmart. Come on where is the love of a good movie.
