| Here is another of those little movies, that catch your attention and end up staying on your mind long after they end. While flipping through the movie channels, I came across Land Girls. I just happenend on the roll in the hay scene between Anna Friel and Steven Mackintosh. Well naturally, I stopped my surfing to take in this wonderful and comedic moment of the film. | I LOVE this movie....firstly because I am Irish and can really relate to the story. Secondly, just to watch Meryl Streep play her role with such a convincing Irish accent,makes me admire her more than ever. Many of my Irish friends can recite lines from the movie off by heart......it is a treasure |

| James Caan plays Sean McLennon, a greedy land owner who starts grabbing up gold claims in 1899 Nome, Alaska through murder and intimidation. Christopher Lamber plays Hudson Saanteek, a half-breed indian who is fighting to keep the native people on one of the richest of these claims.

| Shadow of a Vampire has all the ingredients of a black, black film, but comes off no more than a dark shade of grey. Still, not too shabby for a film whose brilliant acting includes a cast comprising Willem Dafoe, Eddie Lizard, and John Malkovitch.

| "It's Muir's last day before retiring (cliché alert!)" says Amazon review. Lol. That is true. Why they gotta do that? SPY GAME is a good movie though. It's got good acting, was directed well, tells a good story and I always appreciate seeing lots of Europe in a movie. It doesn't paint dark enough a picture of the CIA, an organization that has done enough harm in the world that socially responsible filmmakers should never miss the opportunity to really let those creeps have it, imo. | The best way to describe this movie is James Bond gone bad...I absolutely love this movie. Probably one of the most underrated movies in the last 10 years. Put together an all-star cast with a twisting story line and the exotic, beautiful, and dangerous backdrop of Panama and you have a great movie. If Saville Row means nothing to you and you aren't intrigued by the seedy world of espionage, look elsewhere for entertainment. If this does spark your interest, sit back and enjoy some of the best lines in cinema ("It was just tight--from lack of use"). |
