| "Calamity Jane" is a wonderful film, made three years after the similarly plotted "Annie Get Your Gun." "Calamity Jane," however, is by far the superior film. Doris Day is perfect in the role of the tomboyish title character. | I saw this move for the first time in 1980, my freshman year at high school.
It was shown on a huge screen and it made a lasting impression on me. Has a great storyline, plot and the acting is grade A ! |

| It is too bad Don Murry did not get an acadamy award for this picture. He nails his character as a whiney, lovesick cowboy. The real treat in watching the picture is getting to see a very young Marylin Monroe doing splendidly as she emerges as a very fine dramatic actress. Time has shown how really great she was at her craft. | This is fun little movie about a killer bird lizard. The monster for its time is ok, a little on the small side. This doesn't have a complex story or anything to really confuse you in its 1 hour run. Goerge Zucco summons Quetzalcoatl, Q the Flying Serpent (an Aztec Bird) to do its murdering for his own selfish reasons - to protect a treasure he found.
