| This movie is pretty much tongue in cheek sci fi.
Jack in the golden arches from outer space wants to Kentucky fry humans. The aliens seem unstoppable after butchering a small New Zealand town. To the rescue is an odd team of young commandos. The rest is a shoot out between the heroes and the invaders. As bad as the dialog and special effects are the comedy touches kind of make up for it. I just don't much like horror movies... |

| This film tackles a subject seldom seen on the big screen, and it pulls it off with class. Brian Cox boldly takes on the role of Big John Harrigan, a retired Marine and Vietnam vet, who just happens to have a love for teenage boys. | I saw this when it came out, watched it once--but not all the way through and then got rid of it. It was SO very tacky. It was very, very low budget. Poor acting. Ignorant.
These guys need to stay behind the scenes and do South Park. Their over-the-edge humor and voices are more histerical than their acting. Stay away from this film. (gag) And watch South Park instead. |

| All the Hall of Famers on this team certainly deserved to be there and it is great to see highlights from their illustrious careers. Also it was fitting that Pete Rose was included. I remember seeing the players get recognied before that All Star game. My only objection was the inclusion of active players. Some were only midway through their careers.
