| Across the board this film has received nothing but 5-star reviews. One after another after another. And that's because it's a film that connects beautifully with everyone who watches it. I don't need to recant the plot, and others have reviewed it so well already. Suffice to say this is a very moving film. It's about humanity, sympathy, overcoming, and grace. | In general, I don't like Emilio Estevez's brat pack films, but this isn't about brat pack. Along with Maximum Overdrive, he plays the hero/antihero role well. Most Americans could identify with the economic problems facing the farmers who John Wisdom was trying to help. | This is an awesome movie that accurately describes the struggles of the black students that integrated the all white Central High School in Arkansas. It details what they went through every day, not only in school but out of school. this is a movie about courageous kids that fought for an equal education. This is a film for the whole family, for the history lover, or for anyone that wants to see a good movie. I highly recommend this movie. |

| This is a Chevy Chase comedy classic!!! This Jane Doe Edition is a step up above the original DVD release,sadly the extras included don't have any interviews with Chase or Joe Don Baker but it's still a fine DVD release of a 80's comedy classic!!! Even w/it's slight flaws,still recommended!!! A+ |

| One of the biggest `are you kidding me' moments in Oscar history for me has got to be Jack Palance winning the supporting Oscar for his performance in `City Slickers'. Honestly, sure, it's not a terrible performance, but can you honestly call it a performance? He has like two scenes and what he does with them is truly nothing special.
