| I guess I didn't miss much by not reading this book as a child. I don't really understand why it became a classic. It starts out interestingly enough with a very gothic setting. A little British girl named Mary survives a cholera epidemic in India and is sent to Yorkshire to live with her distant relatives. The author gives a vivid description of the beauty of the moors and the mysterious mansion that the girl goes to live in. | It's too bad this film is not on DVD, even so, you should find a VHS and buy it. It is wonderfully funny, not in a laugh out loud way, but very subtle. |

| I liked this movie quite a bit. I always wondered if they would make a sequel in the future nope not as of yet the story was cool the characters were well the aliens were so 80's but it was fun to watch and not boring.It was the same with Flight Of The Navigator sad it would've been interesting to say the least for a cool sequel!.But I think it is the return of the 80's an example would be the movies for 2008,2010! |

| I was disappointed in this film, it's basically a movie about old folks who come from another palnet to visit earth and act like kids. I suppose a movie about old folks acting young is one thing but what does that have to do with outer space. I guess the point is that earths old folks need space aliens to start acting and feeling young? |
