| I found this movie to be entertaining, but there were several inaccuaracies(although much better than the Patriot).
1. The Hessians were not drunk. It is a myth. 2. I doubt Washington would have used such language, it seems very, very unlike him. 3. | Seems that with the death of Deborah Kerr that there are still a number of her films that have never been transferred to DVd and this would be one at the top of that list. Despite its age, its horrific ending (that tacked on guilt ridden ending should be burnt and let the film end the way the stage play did), there is still some great work here from Deborah and John Kerr (despite looking late 20s at the time which he probably was) I recently transferred my old video off- the -TV print to DVD and whereas it is nice to have ... | i love john jakes kent family novels but i have to say the rebels was the least of the books.very little war happens in it and the two main people the novel follows never meet.
well the mini-series takes care of all of that and is a very good rousing adventure story with a great cast and the best sound track of any of the jakes mini-series. andrew stevens once again plays philip kent and is joined by a young don johnson as judson flecher. the action flows nicely in this one and the cast is great. do yourself a favor and check ... | This was the first movie I saw when I was a kid. I was almost seven at
the time and it was on a double bill with "The Sword and The Stone." My mum dropped my two sisters and myself off at the Altantic Theater in Long Beach, California and this movie played first. I can't tell you a thing about the Disney movie, but I remember just about every scene from Palm Springs Weekend. | If you're not a Sex Pistols or Sid Vicious fan you could really like this movie, but don't trust anything it shows, it's all lies. The movie was made without the concent of any of the Sex Pistols members, they consolted Joe Strummer from The Clash instead of going to Johnny Rotten. It's all BS! If the movie had been about other people, let's say Sam & Natalie, it would have been a lot more enjoyable, but as Sid & Nancy it's worthless. | This movie was barely above atrocious. The movie is based on a play by Christopher Marlowe. The play, Edward II, is very good! This movie does not do it justice. It is very tacky and poorly made. The first thing a viewer is forced to watch is an unnecessary love scene between two men. The movie itself is not set in any one time period. It is confusing to try and figure out where the characters are, or when they are. The acting is terrible as well. It is more like a soap opera then a movie based on a great literary accomplishment. |

| Ten to Midnight is one of those movies I pop in the dvd player at least once every 3 months.
I love revenge movies and I love Bronson, and Andrew Stevens who plays his sidekick .The fact that the killer "Gene Davis" is a hot looking guy that kills women totally in the nude isn't a bad angle either. You could call it a slasher because the killer does slash his victims and there are some good kill scenes, but it's basically a psychological thriller.. | So nice to see the original performers doing their numbers BUT most of the numbers are chopped up. Big portions of some songs are missing to fit into TV limitations. Pity. However, it is nice to have even this little bit to watch. |
