| I have all of Barbra Streisand movies on Dvd except for this one. This is one of the biggest mysteries. It probably is Barbra's best film ever and it is still not out on Dvd. What are they waiting for? I wish someone knew the answer to this question. |

| As a substitute teacher in a middle school English class, I was left this movie to show the class. I knew nothing about it, but I got caught up in its innocent (but never simple-minded) charms. I had to stay late after school to see how it ended! I did not know that Disney had returned so strongly to G and PG rated movie-making. Yes, it is a bit sentimental, but life needs a bit of that, and it offers plenty of food for thought for grown-ups too. A genuine surprise -- and pleasure. |

| Getting to know Woody Allen's filmography as of late has been a real trip, and while there have been some misses for me, for the most part I have become a real fan of his work. `Deconstructing Harry' may very well be one of my favorites. The film is an uproarious look at the struggle one makes to create something, about the fact that fiction truly imitates life and that life, in its rawest of forms, is truly remarkable.

| Micki and Maude is so funny, original, and heartwarming film about a man who is married to two women and trying to keep the truth from slipping out. Dudley Moore is perfectly cast as Rob, Amy Irving and Ann Reinkling star as Rob's two brides. Directed by Blake Edwards, Micki and Maude is just one laugh and mishap after the other. I love, love, love this film, after all these years, this movie is still a riot. I highly recommend this comedic look at a bigamist with a heart of gold. Enjoy! |
