| I had orginally ordered a complete replacement kit made by a company other than Moen. What I received was top quality and should have been for the $350 it cost. Unfortunately, when I opened it I realized that installing a different brand unit would require cutting a hole in the back wall of my shower and sweating on all new fittings. | I love the taste of the water filtered through this pitcher. We've stopped buying bottled water since we got it. But the pitcher design is HORRIBLE. The part of the lid that fits into the pitcher is is maybe a couple of millimeters tall so it barely stays on. When you the reservoir is filled to near the top and you tilt the pitcher even slightly backwards, water leaks into the two-part handle and down the bottom. | I thought this was the best thing since perforated toilet paper, like many other reviewers, but after a few weeks of use the seat starts to get very loose and the cheap thin plastic "hinge holder" eventually breaks. I called their customer service who promptly sent a new seat(without even verifying any info, which tells me this is a very common problem) When it arrived the snap cover for the "hinge holder" was already broken in the box!! | I am using this heat tape to keep a standpipe and spigot from freezing outside the horse barn. It must be laid flat on the pipe as opposed to twisting it around the length of the pipe. For a long running pipe, this is the correct unit, but be sure to order the proper length. |
