| What is there to say? The filters work as they are supposed to work; we have a lot of iron and sediment in our well water, and the whole-house filter really makes a difference; the filter lasts about 4 months. |

If you leave the flavor lid DOWN then the flavored liquid collects in the reservoir and you end up wasting a lot of flavor (it collects and solidifies). I ran into that problem early on, but the solution is extremely simple: flip up the lid of the flavor area before you squirt. Then, as you pour, squirt, and all of the flavor will go right in your glass.

| I bought this 6 years ago. It's a standard design that has been used for maybe 40 years in labs to filter tap water for purity reasons. The new shut off valve in the top is a good idea. I use it under the sink instead of whole-house. The $5 carbon filter has to be changed about once every 6 months before the bad taste of tap water starts to come through again.
