| Five LED lights together on the bill of a hat may look ridiculous but actually does a dccent job. I use the lights to read by since my middle age eyes require a lot of light to read. Five lights are better than one although the light still doesn't radiate across the entire verticle page of the book. The price is excellent and I would recommend the product as good for reading but not perfect. |

| This lamp is no more & no less than described.
Pros : I like the full-spectrum lighting. Nice & white & it makes every other lightbulb in the room look yellowish. Cons: Replacement bulbs are $9.00. Only takes a few and you've doubled the cost of the lamp itself. Also I thought I was ordering a black one and it came in white. Not annoying enough to bother with returning it, but when I repeated the order as a test, I found nowhere does it ask you to choose a color. |

| On our recent trip to Egypt and Jordan we stayed at the St. Catherine's Plaza Hotel in Jordan, the hotel was not very secure and had no added security locks or chains on the door. | I bought this along with the more expensive First Alert CO410 model to replace two Kidde-brand models which had died within two years of purchase. I figured a different brand had to be better, right?

| The smart strip is larger than I expected, but that is understandable with all the technology that is contained in this strip. It was very easy to setup and I just used another powerstrip plugged into one of the controlled outlets instead of buying the version of the smart strip that has more outlets. I wasn't able to get it to work with my AT&T U-Verse DVR, but just set it up to use my TV as the controller instead. I think I am going to buy these as Christmas gifts for family this year. |

| I bought this gizmo a few weeks ago to monitor the basement in our new house and see if it is usable as an entertainment/gym area. In the summer when we did the radon test the result came in at 2.4 . When I first turned on this device the result came in at 8.4 !!

| Excellent product, push the remote transmitter button and the surge protector switches off. Push it again and the surge protecter turns on. Will definitely save electricity by cutting power to devices that are always on standby.
Only problem with the unit I received was that initially the remote switch would not turn the surge protector on. I thought that I might have to return it, until I checked the frequency settings for the remote switch and the surge protector. Switched them to match and the unit worked like a charm.
