| The actual dimnetions of this product are 7" long and 7" wide ( at the end of the product- the part that we hold to our eyes is not quite as wide and fit to the eyes.
These are VERY strong binoculars, they are 16x the magnification, the 50 ( the other #) is simply the size of the front lens.. its 50 mm in diameter ( wide)... they are very strong and you can see things very far away. | This is one of the greatest inventions in firearms technology ... EVER. My wife and I use this when we hit the shooting range and she has trouble loading the last couple rounds in our 1911. | This was a step up in bins for me, a five-year birder, on a trip to the Amazonas with birding experts. They worked well; I had a bit of trouble adjusting the distance/closeness in time to catch the bird. May be my lack of experience, but the bins seemed stiff. They were much bettter than the old ones; 8x40. They held up well in the heat and humidity. |

| after looking at the reviews for this, i pulled the trigger and picked them up. We hike often through the local parks and these are so sweet! Like I said, not at all a pro at this sort of thing, so they are easy to use and crystal clear along with bringing the life right to one's eyes. The field of vision is pretty stellar as well. | Since most flashlights give out fairly quickly, I'm astonished that these things last what seems like forever. I've had one for years and have never had to change the bulb (an extra one stores inside just in case) or even the batteries. I don't use it frequently, but that's the problem with regular flashlights, because when I do want one, it always seemed to be out of juice. Rats. I switched to Maglites and would never go back.
