| My father-in-law bought this for my son. He's 2 and we used it this fall for the first time, and caught a largemouth bass! The casting is very easy with a simple push button hold and release. My son couldn't cast it yet, but I could (I'm not a fisherman) and he was able to reel in several fish we caught! He didn't want to touch the fish, but the rod is fantastic. |

| My wife and I use "telescopic rods" for fishing out of our kayaks. This rod collapses to a good managable size, and is only 4'6" extended (perfect for our use). The problem is this item is described as having "stainless steel guides with smooth ceramic inserts"! It absolutely does not have inserts, ceramic or otherwise!! | The Scale is cheap and does it's job. However, when you hook up an item to take a measurement, you have to play around with the clip so that the item being weighed does not hit the scale. |
