| Took this pack and a smaller osprey pack as a day pack packed inside the larger one. The bag was pretty decent. It was comfortable to wear had lots of space and held its shape well. It had adjustable straps which proved very useful. My only wish was that this back had more pockets on the inside. It has one deep but small pocket at the top and one large zipper down but shallow pocket on the back face and two mesh pockets of the inside within the main zipper down compartment. | Pretty nifty looking design, AWFUL experience. If you do buy it, try it out around the house first. It's cool how the backpack zips out, but I agree with S.Butts, it is HEAVY when packed (moderately). I took a trip to Spain and ended up buying a shopping basket with wheels to cart it around, ultimately giving it to my host and buying a suitcase in Madrid. Most basic flaw: The straps don't support the size and weight of the pack. I'm 6'2 200lbs, and I bought the "medium". |
