| I bought this hitch lock for a 2002 yakima full swing bike carrrier that I purchased used. The lock traveled 4000 miles holding the carrier in place. It is easy to use except you can not fit the key hole cover on as it was too tight. That wasn't significant and didn't effect the locking mechanism. Overall good lock for this carrier. If you have questions about which lock will fit your carrier, call Yakima they had great customer support and told me exactly what to buy. |

| We purchased this product so we could haul 4 bikes at the same time we are towing a popup camper. The tow vehicle is a 2008 Aspen SUV. In that situation there are some options but they are limited. We also wanted something we could use whether or not we are towing the camper, so a camper-mounted rack was out. The good news is that 4 bikes fit on the rack with very little problem - I rotated the handlebars on bike #1 90 degress to help the puzzle fit but that was the only modification. The bad news ... | This product is straight forward easy to install as advertised. My roof rails are foolishly body colored rather than something more wear forgiving. The soft rubber mounts allow for tight installation and full removal with no marks left or paint abrasion.

| This rack is great. Used it for a trip the day I received it. Only took 3 bikes with me but the rack never moved. It installs in no time and when loaded has no sway at all. It swings down nicely so I could lift the rear gate on the Envoy while the bikes were on the rack. Great product, no need to spend more money for the other two "name brands". |

| We had looked for a hard shell rooftop carrier, but where put off by the price of them and decided that this bag would be simple to set up and adequate for our luggage needs. It takes about 10 minutes to set up and 5 to remove.
Plus we drove from CT to NC part of the way though rain and back, there was a slight MPG drop because of the wind resistance, but no leaks and it holds lots of luggage. We should get plenty of use out of this bag over the next couple of years. I also should mention ... Read More: |
