| We needed a rack that was wide enough for 4 snowboards. This carrier is longer than the average 4 board carrier leaving more room between the boards so that they don't cut up the other board's high backs.
hinges on this rack are spring loaded to self adjust to the thickness of the items being carried. The rack is a lot quieter than our old one a Yakima promo rack. |

| I was skeptical when adding this to my rack but 2 days after installing crossbars on my honda civic hybrid, I couldnt hear anything but witd and I watched my gas mileage plummit, so I invested 30$ into a fairing and back to "good as new" condition. If you have a yak rack, get a fairing!!! |

| I am very happy with the cargo box. Very easy to attach to your rack. Locking mechanism is well put together. No complaints. If I could change one thing, I would have gotten the next larger size. |

| this is a nice rack but should be modified to allow adjustment for spare tires wider than those on Hondas. I bought the rack specifically to fit a standard Jeep spare tire and still had to pay 95.00 dollars to have it lengthened to fit my spare. |

| I purchased this bike rack to replace a rear mounted style bike rack. I needed a rack that could accomodate 4 growing kids/teens. The rack was easy for my husband to install on our hitch. The rack is heavy and durable. I had no problems fitting the 4 bikes of different styles and shapes. The rubber holders turn easily to fit the different style bikes. | Good item for the price but you do get what you pay for here. The rubber cushions the bike rest on slide while the back is attached and traveling. Simply using the velcro isn't enough, the bike can swing wildly. If you plan on using a locking receiver pin you will have to drill out the cheesy nut they put in the carrier. This uses a cheaply rigged nut inside the tube insert. |

| We purchased this softsided cartop carrier to basically to hold one daughter's college-bound belongings so we could load the trunk with the second daughter's things. The Thule worked perfectly. We were amazed at how much it held, but we did limit its load to soft things such as clothing and bedding. Heavier and more sensitive items (computers, printers) went into the trunk for safety.
