| I bought these to use with my Thule Roadway rack, they come 2 per package. I read the review noting the possible frame tube scratches and decided to be pro-active. I used some left over bartape and placed that over the hard plastic where the frame tube rests against. These cages work great to hold the bikes in place. I use the Thule strap that came with the rack to hold the front wheel in position during transport.

| This is a great addition to my Yakima rack. The cord is a little short. You are only able to lock it around the rear bike, but that should do the trick. |

The lock itself gets 5 stars from me. I have had a STL Snug-Tite lock for several years and like it very much. Unfortunately, the lock came off (my fault) though the bolt portion is still very securely attached (even after taking it on some rough 4wd roads in Colorado). | Yakima really blew it when designing the security of their new towers and accessories. The lock engages a thin tab on the glass-filled polymer cover. Once the cover is lifted, the cam releases the tension on the Q Clips and the entire rack can be lifted off of the roof. With the cover locked, there are several pry points that can be attacked with a flat-bladed screwdriver or pry bar. The fit of the cover is very loose and it can be lifted about an eighth of an inch. | Make sure this items fits your bike. The bike frame was too big to fit in the adapter. I had to connect to seat bottom and handle bars. After first rain, I noticed rust on bar. Walmart has a similar adapter for less. |

| I am very happy with the cargo box. Very easy to attach to your rack. Locking mechanism is well put together. No complaints. If I could change one thing, I would have gotten the next larger size. |

| These racks are great. A little tough to lift a 14 ft. kayak up on top of the van by myself, maybe rollers and saddles would be easier on a high roof. These work very well though, holds the boat very securely. |
