| It fit perfectly on my Ford Escape seat without even adjusting the straps. The lower pocket tucks in behind the armrest but is still easily accessible. My wife says she doesn't even notice it back there when she is riding in the passenger seat. I would have given it five stars but the pockets were a little smaller than I expected. The extra storage pockets I now have will still be very useful for my cell phone, sun glasses and other items that usually end up lying on the passenger seat. |

| Installed this on a Jeep Grand Cherokee factory rack. Not enough clearance between the roof and ski bindings - had to take apart skis and lay them flat. Therefore could barely fit 2 skis + 1 snowboard. Look for a height adjustable or bigger rack such as the Yakima Fat Cat if you're carrying more than 3 pair of skis. |

| This rack is very sturdy and fits my Toyota Tacoma perfectly. I highly suggest you have a manufacturer install it properly (REI did mine for about $200, but it was worth not having the hassle). Also the bars are easily taken off with the hex wrench during non-winter seasons, so UV rays don't deteriorate the rubber. It is noisy in the wind, so that takes some getting used to. | Assembly instructions as well as operating instructions were almost useless something was lost in the translation... The workmanship was of good quality also the fit and finish were as well. This unit is not for the Toyota FJ Cruiser as you only are able to open the rear door less than half way even with the fold down feature enabled making the loading of large dogs with the unit attached a difficult task. |

| This Yakima roof rack system works great and I highly recommend it. I bought one for my Mazda 3 and have used it, along with a Yakima roof rack for 2 cross country ski trips (I live a Florida, skiing is far away). The rack hasn't shifted an inch and was relatively easy to install. Yakima has a product guide on their site to make sure you order the right pieces for your model car. |

| The Thule seems to be well constructed and will last many years. The lift assist is handy. Mounting was more difficult than expected. Feeding the U bolts through the bottom was tricky, especially when you're balancing on the side of the vehicle. |

| The first time we tried to put the rack on the van it took us about an hour... Once it was completed we couldn't believe it took so long. Now it takes 5 min and off we go. It's very sturdy. |

| We've been using Thule products on our cars for about 10 years. I like the "square" form factor. Gives a really good + strong fit. This is my first set of 450s and I'm surprising pleased. Like all Thules these are well built and beautifully designed. I had some trepidation about the plastic strap on the bottom [I'm a big fan of the 415s] but these fit securely and are working out nicely. Customer service at Thule is incredible; another great reason for buying their products. |
