| The 604 Ascent 1600 box was a breeze to install and easy to use. The inner straps are critical to compact soft bags to allow the locking merchanism to engage. Thule should add a small folding step stool to allow ease loading on SUV's! I needed a three step ladder to load in efficiently. The dual-side access feature is perfect. |

| This bag is very large; which is what I wanted. The only drawback is that it does not have any type of frame to keep its shape. I guess you could build a frame out of small diameter PVC pipe but probably not worth it. Overall it seems to be well built. |

| The rack doesn't fit tightly into the receiver, so it rocks back and forth around corners. So far I've only carried things I could see through the back window, and although they rocked along with the rack they didn't seem to budge in separately from the rack. |

| I considered buying a Thule rack when I noticed that Amazon had this rack on sale - almost 60% off. I did a little checking of other customer reviews as well as the Allen website. I hadn't heard of Allen before (not that that means anything) but I decided to take a chance on this product. The rack arrived in three days and was ready for installation straight out of the box. | This is great storage and the ease of installation is super! Bought & used for a camping trip and very impressed with how roomy it is. We have a Jeep and the dog takes up the back end - this carrier held all we needed with room to spare. We will be using this often. No noise problem that we noticed. | This is a pretty straightforward purchase: two Thule-brand bars of dimension 1.25" x 0.75" -- exactly what I needed to replace my old (ancient!) Terzo-brand bars that finally rusted out and gave way. Only 3 stars are awarded as I found the picture misleading: the end caps are NOT included, I'll have to buy these separately now. Had I known (or read the written description which omits mention of the caps) I would have sprung the extra $5 to get the caps included in my free shipping. |

| I've had one of these for several years and it works just fine. Be aware it will not carry a full suspension mountain bike without purchasing a Saris Bike Beam Trunk and Hitch Rack Crossbar Adapter for Dual Suspension and Women's Bicycle Frames that spans between the seat tube and stem. There's not enough room between the sloping top tube and rear shock. |

| I purchased the Thule Rooftop Cargo Box after seeing them on so many vehicles on my travels across the U.S.. The 603 Ascent 1500 was selected as the size and shape fit my camping needs to a "T". Once I received it and opened the box I was skeptical as it is very light, but feeling confident with the numbers of them in use, I mounted it to my 2001 Subaru Outback. Wow! Easy and Quick! No brainer there! Then it was off to Washington State an over 2100 mile trip.
