| I bought this item from a local bike shop. They mounted it on the car showed us how to Strap the bike on. I did everthing they showed me! Driving down the Highway at 75 Mph Look up at the mirror in time to see my $640.00 bike fell off and Tumbled everywhere. Traffic swerving to avoid hitting it. My bike is Distroyed. Only had the bike for 33 days. Had the bike rack for less then a day.
What I got out of it A broken bike and a useless bike rack! |

| Since the Sport Rack Basket is only rated for 110 lb capacity this net is quite adequate to hold everything that I will be putting up there. With a full load it held everything just fine on a recent trip. |

| Yakima makes great products. Well designed and easy to install. This upright bike rack is no exeption. I bought 2 of them and install was 3 min per rack. With both bikes on top, the whole Yakima Q-tower rack system was completely stable and the bikes didn't move at all. I am thoroughly impressed. Only complaint is that my high-profile Yakima fairing won't work with these racks. I have to remove it anytime I want to load bikes. | My wife and I used this to take our bikes 500 miles round trip. The bikes stayed put and there were no issues with sway. I have also used it for local trips around town. It folds up or down in just a couple of minutes. There a little stickers to mark the settings you use so you don't have to start from scratch everytime. | It's the first time I've had to return a product purchased on Amazon. The box arrived and it had obviously been returned once before as the box was torn and re-taped. One of the arms was bent and the product was dirty.
It seemed flimsy as well, so whoever used it last probably didn't have to do much to damage it. Returned again. Beware. |

| This items is very lightweight. It does fit our Suzuki 250, length wise, but the ramp is very short and I nearly had a heart attack when we put the bike up there - the tires are a little wider than the ramp would prefer and the aluminum rack bent under the 310 pounds. It held and it's an easy, inexpesive rix for hauling our bike but hard to get the bike up there. |

| Just FYI, you can put two kayaks on with only one rack, as long as you buy some extra straps for the second boat. I bought two, since we have two kayaks, but only needed one. That said, I did need the second set of straps, ropes, and hooks. When we eventually buy two more boats (total of 4), I will only need to buy some extra straps and we will be all set. |
