| Was excited to get this as my crossbars are very close together and lateral stability was key. My board is 11'3" L 29.5" W and over 4" thick. Had everything set up all nice and neat until I tried to get the straps on. Except they are too short to hook on for my board. Don't see how any stand up board or thicker and wider board would fit with the included straps so I was back to standard compression straps. So much for the quick convenience. | This was easy to attach, and you still have plenty of room for cargo if you're not carry bikes. It gives a little bit of stability to the bike, but you still need to get some tie downs to strap it down pretty tightly. |

This rack hold up great and worked perfectly in rain, strong winds, high speeds on the highway, and excessively sharp turns. I have been using this rack for about 3 months now, and no problems have come up. I tighten the straps about 2 times a week; it turns out they only loosen about 3/4 a centimeter when I check them. I can still open my trunk with the rike on (and bike off).
