| I bought this for my 2005 Toyota RAV4. Like the other reviewers stated, this is easy to install. It is solid, and I love the fact that there is a key to lock the top bar down. When the weather turns bad it will be easy to remove post and put the tire cover back on. Two thumbs up! |

| This product works like it is described. It does a great job of putting odd framed bikes onto a standard bike rack. The mountain bike that I have has a suspension frame that made it difficult to mount onto a rack. The other bike is my wifes, a womens bike, and it also worked well. It is very sturdy and durable. The one advice that I would give when using it is to make sure your seat is securely attached, as this is where the adapter locks onto. Have not used any other adapters, so I cant compare them ... | The lock cores insert easily in any Thule rack and can be moved between devices if you have multiple. They are "better than nothing" and are a key deterrent for any rack.
That said, they do not strike me as being that secure. I feel like a resourceful thief would defeat them very quickly - whether it be by simply ripping the core out, or maintaining complete set of keys. I would still purchase them again, but certainly wouldn't go so far as leave my bikes on the rack in say, a hotel ... Read More: |

| The contstruction and ease of use is very good with a pickup truck. Loved it for the first few years. However, the rubber material that the tube frame of the bike actually rests on does not hold up. I've had mine for a few years but really haven't used it that much and the rubber loops where the straps go through are all coming off. This will eventually lead to the inability to secure the bikes. |

| I am so happy I didn't settle for less when making this purchase. This rack is an excellent product. I leave it on our Tahoe and can easily access our rear hatch door. I would highly recommend this rack to anyone.
