| The value of the hose is that it is neutral. I.e., it will not flavor your water with a hose-like or rubber taste. In that regard, 5 stars.
The quality of the hose is just OK. Although it's fiber-reinforced (protecting against bursting), it is relatively thin and the ends are stamped steel, not solid brass.
