| I bought the beef teriyaki with rice and am happy to say it is quite tasty. It looks a little mushy after you mix it up but thats not a problem really. The texture in your mouth is good and there is a quite satisfying teriyaki sauce taste to it. This is important because if you've had real teriyaki you know that the sauce really defines it and if they skimp on that it becomes an issue. That is not a problem here.

| I'd give it five stars but they sent 3 granola with blueberries and milk instead of one granola, one eggs/bacon and one eggs/ham. As it turns out, the granola is really tasty so I wouldn't mind three days of it. But they need to update the contents or inform that substitutions may be made.

| Mountain House stuff is the best I have found in emergency and long-storage foods. I had never tried these and was afraid they would taste like cardboard - but was pleasantly surprised. The flavor reminds me of town house crackers. They are like thick round crackers but not salty. In fact, they have a slight sweet taste but it's barely noticable. Good with deviled ham, cheese, butter, peanut butter, jelly, etc. They go well with most meals, IMHO, but I prefer something salty with some dishes, like chili. ... Read More: |
