| These work as advertised. It's nice to have a full sized fork to work with, as well as a full sized spoon. This gets rid of the worst of all worlds that is a traditional spork. Be aware that on the fork size, there is a little plastic knife. My wife ended up lightly cutting herself on the lip because she was not aware of this while using the product for the first time. |

| I bought this along with other things to put together a basic survival kit. I was expecting more, especially since the description used the word "tin" for what the Mayadust is contained in. The container is plastic and I could see it easily "popping" open inside my backpack with the moving around/etc activities. I'm actually thinking of putting it inside a plastic baggy or a rubber band around it just in case. Haven't actually used it yet so I can't say much on that part. | I got the kit and the harness, though it fit easily in my pack so I ended up not clipping it to the outside. I like that the harness keeps everything together. The fork/knife/spoon is comfortable to use and all of the pieces are good, useful sizes. The kit is sturdy and easy to clean. My only complaint is that the cup lid could use a ventilation hole. It is a little difficult to drink out of as it's designed. |

| This baby makes a heck of a spark field. Very cool for show and tell for boys like Boy Scouts. It should work real well on lighting up kindling, especially with starters or vaseline soaked lint. |

| When I first purchased this knife, it was basically for a trial, as I had planned on getting one for each of the groomsman in my wedding. I was very excited to use the firesteel to light a campfire for my family. I am a veteran outdoorsman and have lit fires in some pretty hairry situations. | i was so happy to find these online. i lived in Guatemala for a couple years, and got really spoild using these resin-rich sticks (available in any market there since a larg percentage of people in that country still heat their homes and cook using open wood fire) to start any type of fire. they are better than any lighter fluid you can find and they smell AMAZING (of pine) as opposed to toxic, and they won't contaminate your food! personal tip that isn't mentioned on the package: they work even better if you can splinter ... | This is a cool little item that you don't need, you could just use a sharp stick and have the same thing. If you're out backpacking and want to be an outdoor gourmet and impress your friends then get this light .6oz fire fork. It takes a little time to find the right size stick to to use with this, but when you do the fork is very secure on it.
