| Its a solid sports cap that is designed specifically for KK. The reason it whistles is that the Kanteen is solid steel and unlike plastic bottles you cannot squeeze it to get the water out. You actually have to suck on the cap to get the water out. There is actually a little soft plastic valve that opens when theres negative pressure in the bottle letting air in from the outside. | I bought this for my 7th grader to take to school everyday to replace his plastic water bottle- trying to help the environment. I highly recommend it. We tried swithching from brand name water bottles to reusable plastic water bottles but they always had an "off" smell. This stainless steel bottle doesn't have any smell at all. My son loves it. Great product and highly recommend buying the tote, it keeps the bottle colder longer and its easier to carry around. Thank you. |

| I got the Klean Kanteen Sippy for my 1 year old because she kept wanting to drink from my larger one with a loop cap and spilling water all over herself. She loves to carry it around and has no problem holding it to drink from it. There are only two minor problems--firstly toddlers love to throw drink cups so it's got a couple of character dents and secondly the Avent sippy seal portion has to be cleaned regularly.
