| I purchased this bar for an intended trip. I have a GIANT hybrid and my wife a TREK hybrid. While I was a bit apprehensive it proved me wrong. Not one problem from PA to Myrtle Beach via Jacksonville NC to see our daughter and then straight back. Over 1,100 mile and this was the first time we ever took the bike anywhere! |

| My bike went on easy but my wife's and kids' bikes were hard to get onto the rack. Once everything was on it was secure. |

| This bike rack is very easy to install on the vehicle. Bikes load and unload in a flash. It rides very securely with minimal bouncing and no side to side motion. I don't feel the need to keep checking in my mirror to be sure the bikes are safe. I have a sloped cross bar on my bike so I purchased a tension bar to use with the carrier, but found my bike sits fine without the bar. |

| Easy install, easy on-off, pretty durable. Kinda hold my odd-framed mountain bike in a clumsy way, but still holds it. Great with street bikes. |

| I have a 2001 Camry, and wasn't able to attach the lower straps below the bumper (as the picture shows). Even with them attached to the trunk, it is very stable. I have no worries attaching my $$$ tri bike and traveling at highway speeds. And as a bonus, I can access the trunk now.
Very simple to assemble; once straps are initially set, it's literally a matter of seconds to remove or reattach. |

| I considered buying a Thule rack when I noticed that Amazon had this rack on sale - almost 60% off. I did a little checking of other customer reviews as well as the Allen website. I hadn't heard of Allen before (not that that means anything) but I decided to take a chance on this product. The rack arrived in three days and was ready for installation straight out of the box. | We purchased this product so we could haul 4 bikes at the same time we are towing a popup camper. The tow vehicle is a 2008 Aspen SUV. In that situation there are some options but they are limited. We also wanted something we could use whether or not we are towing the camper, so a camper-mounted rack was out.
