| I have just recieved this watch today. i was pretty excited about it for the last couple days so i had read all 15 reviews for it here on amazon so i kinda knew what to expect.

| The Invicta Diver 8926 is a bargin!!! I've been a fan of the Rolex Submariner for years, and this watch truely has that "look". Actually, I've had people ask me if it is the Rolex. I really am impressed with the quality. It is much more than I expected for a $100 AUTOMATIC watch and it looks, feels, and (sort-of) acts like a thousand dollar watch, or even almost like a $5000 Rolex Submariner. | As one reviewer noted already, the pictures do not do this watch justice. It is a very attractive watch. It seems quite solid and was heavier than I expected. I don't mean heavy in a bad way, but heavy as in well constructed and sturdy. I have worn watches all my adult life as a professional, but this was the first watch people have noticed and complimented. | I have had my 8926OB for aprox. a week and I am extremely pleased with the watch. The looks and Quality are excellent,solid stainless steel case and band lugs,substantial weight and feel,mineral crystal and movement for about a hundred bucks it is a true bargain.
I've owned a Rolex silver&gold Datejust for 18 years and had it serviced once at about $200. and now it needs another service (quit working) at a cost of $250 to $400 dollars. to me this is ridiculous and I decided to try the Invicta and I am glad ... Read More: |

| I bought this watch back when it was a new design, about 18 years ago for $128. It has never let me down, never broken, on it's third (or fourth) battery and about that many straps. | I recieved this watch and the first thing that I discovered was that the indiglo light doesn't always work. The watch bracelet is rather flimsy and light feeling (also too narrow at 18mm) The one that I recieved had several scrathces on the metal links. The watch itself looks nice, but I would suggest going with another Timex model. Amazon sent me a replacement (suppose to be same watch model #T29781) that arrived in a retail box with the WRONG WATCH INSIDE!! | I love this this watch, i have it now for a few days, and it's simplicity, solid construction, and it's look all make you love it. but with the advantages comes the disadvantages:
1)it's heavier then the newer models 2)it's big 3)the screen is half taken by some half-functional graphics 4)you can't set the alarm with the back light on 5)it only has 1 alarm clock (other models have up to 5) 6)the battery only lasts for 2 years (by manufacture) - other can last up to 5 years. I'm also a rather small female like the other reviewer (5'4", 110 lb)and I had to have exactly 6 links removed. I've been wearing this watch about a week now and this watch is the most sturdy looking and quality watch that I've ever worn. But you should be aware of a few things.
