| This G-Shock, my first, is a great introduction to these tough and highly functional Casios. It isn't as bulky as the other G-Shocks, (at 5'7" and 155 lbs, I don't have the wrists for those), and it's so comfortable that I sometimes need to remind myself that I'm wearing a watch. | I like the watch unit. It has large numbers, with 2 interval timers, which are great for interval training.
The bad part is the watch band. It cracks and breaks, and there is no way to replace it besides buying a new watch. Now I am looking for a watch with the identical features but with replaceable watch bands. |

| This watch should not be worn in water. I used it in a swimming pool twice and it got moisture inside and stopped working. I had a previous version of this watch for several years which was very water resistant and I had no problem with it, but I would not purchase the current version again. |

| Received my Waveceptor recently and am thrilled to have a watch that I don't have to be concerned that it is on-time, or that I have worry that the battery will go flat. It was fun to see the watch set the time immediately after taking it out of its shipping box. It re-synchronizes itself every night without fail. I am still getting familiar with all the features and keep referring back to the manual. I'm very satisfied with the watch and am grateful for other reviews to point me in to buying this watch.

| I can't say much here that hasn't already been said. This watch is a steal at $100 and can usually be found for a few bucks cheaper with a little patience and effort. The band is really well-made - much nicer and heftier than typical at this price point. The two most common complaints - the weakness of the glow-in-the-dark material and the paltry date magnifier - are really minor and don't affect my appreciation of the watch. | Just got this watch and its now back in the box to be driven to the post office for return. The display is defective. The middle horizontal lines for the main display and the hundreds display is missing. In other words 8's look like 0's, 3's look like backward C's etc. OK so its defective, it happens, but what causes me to write the review is I don't see the slight darkening where the horizontal lines should be. I can see in the LCD the circuit traces that make all the lines that do display but no ciruit traces for the missing ... Read More: |
