| These are the same straps purchased for our company-sponsored class, and highly recommended by our instructor. They seem like pretty indestructible straps if they are used in yoga studios in so many places! I originally got another brand in 6'. After using these in class, I found I needed the little bit extra length of the 8'. | Well, it's a strap. There's not much to say about straps. But, well, this one is purple! Good color :). Seriously, the width is good -- it helps hold certain yoga positions. The clasp is tight. The weave is nice, allowing for a soft touch from the strap. I highly recommend this. Plus, the name rocks -- Hugger Mugger. Who can resist? :) |

| I have a Manduka Black Mat and I also use a regular sticky mat for extra padding. I like to keep both of them rolled together because it is easier to set up for class. I used to have a Gaiam Velcro strap that I bought from target, but it wasn't big enough to wrap around both mats rolled together. The Hugger Mugger harness is very well made, very strong, and has the adjustable straps to accommodate any mat(s) you are using! | I'm reasonably flexible, but I'm also.. Hmm, how you say? Festively plump? And whether its lack of flexibility or festive plumpness, sometimes I just can't reach and that's what these things are for.
The strap is comfortable to use. It's nice and wide, a thinner strap would probably hurt after a bit because there's less surface area to disperse the stress over. It's soft, flexible, very sturdy, and I didn't have to make it myself. I suppose I could have, but if you can drop ... Read More: |

| I really didn't see the sense in yoga props when I started yoga. I mean, cowboy up and do the pose, right? HA! Shows what a Type-A, Western gal I am. But, I have since learned using props is not a weakness at all. Just like you wear the proper shoes when walking or running, you use props when doing yoga.
