| I bought these boots mostly for snowshoeing this winter. I did wear them on a motorcycle color ride up here in the northwoods when it was in the low 30's one morning. My feet were happy, never cold and comfortable all day long. Walking around they were very comfortable. Now the real test will be when snow comes. I am sure that I will like them for snowshoeing. | First off, just want to say that I ordered these shows for practical reasons and not the look. Wouldn't call them particularly elegant looking but am very satisfied with the purchase!! They eep my toes nice and toasty!!
However, am waiting to see how well they handle the snow. But so far, am impressed. I was a little concerned as to whether or not I should order a 1/2 size up but ended up ordering my ordinary size - it worked perfectly. |

| You can't be breaking your ankle out there on the open trail. These shoes aren't as heavy as they look and are super durable. They have lasted me a long time now and I expect them to last a lot longer. I'm very satisfied with what I got and couldn't have asked for more when shopping for hiking shoes. I'd recommend this defiantly for all you hikers out there (yes I know they're men's shoes and I'm a girl, but so what). | These shoes are amazing for keep you above the snow and slush! The treads are super-high - they're definitely the best feature. I wish the shoes were higher around the ankles, and the suede gets weather stained - water spots...But they are good winter shoes - a nice in between regular shoes and boots. |

| I've been using 500 and 510 within the last decade - very strong and soft leather; perfect for walking in a jungle. Just purchased the 500 again; very hard to wear, rugged and after 2 months of wearing the leather color begins to fade out in individual places- you begin to see the actual color of the leather, not the color of the shoe you purchased. I am disappointed. |
