| you will need to fill it with sand. filling it with 270 lbs as recommended, it still moved about 6 in. from the floor. I made a hole on top and filled it with 400 lbs. now it moves only an inch from the floor. dont fill it with any more because the column would be too heavy, just up to 1/3 the column |

| I put a big pot in the sink and turned on the sink to have water constantly flowing into it. From there I scooped the water out with a 2-quart sauce pan into the base using a normal size funnel--not especially large. It took me just 15 minutes of scooping to completely fill it.
I think they've changed the padding material since some of the other reviews. Mine is harder than the ones at my martial arts studio and the padding is a different color, white as opposed to gray foam, and seems more ... Read More: |

| This bag has been very durable. I don't use it every day. Just on days between going to the gym. It gets use 2-3 days per week. The only problem I had was that it was pretty hard in a few areas. I went to a sporting goods store and they had one hanging up and it was much softer. The guy told me (off the record) that they had went against manufacturer's recommendations and unzipped the top and removed some of the filler. | Works great, other than the fact that I got a defective chain to hang it with, missing one of the hooks, and one of the three that were there was on the wrong end, so I had two hooks on 7 link chains, one on an 11 link chain (about five inches too long then) and no way to hang the thing correctly. Emailed Amazon about it, and in less than 10 minutes I had shipping confirmation for a replacement unit.

| Please read this carefully. I purchased this item a few years ago. What the customer does not realize is that this dummy is not 100% soft material. The black areas are hard PLASTIC! The blue area is not very soft or pliable. The material they used on this product is cheap and inferior. The hard plastic is NOT ACCEPTABLE for a martial arts/fitness training equipment. | I own a pair of these Everlast MMA mitts. The surface is bigger than traditional pads and can support larger gloves or hands. These mitts are thicker and can absorb more punishment than traditional focus mitts. Some other reviewers complained about its non-adjustable wristband, but with its stationary one, people can quickly switch between holder and striker. If you want a top quality pad for mixed martial arts, traditional martial arts, or boxing, buy them. |

| I bought this product about a month ago. I thought it would be good to let some aggression out on bag as I did in my younger years. I shopped for a while and came across this deal....thought it was to good to be true. Ordered it and it was an awesome deal. The bag was easy to set up, the rope worked great once it was stretched out, and the gloves provided the minimal protection that I needed. Overall, a great product and price....and extra bonuses that you do not get with other products!! |

| I have owned many different bag gloves in my life and these are the worst. The wrist support isn't that great and the padding over the knuckles is inferior to other bag gloves made by Everlast makes. Stiff and lacking wrist support. |

| perfect! ...except I hit the boxing bag with it and my knuckle skin chafed off so I had to wear 2-3 bandaids for almost a week before it healed.
I bought sports-tape for my knuckles at a drug-store so I don't get hurt next time I use them again. could be improved with longer fingers-coverage and a little padding on the thumb-knuckles too.
