| This trainer is a great beginner trainer. I am a young teenager finishing up my first season racing. I decide I wanted to stick with it so I bought a trainer. The trainer is assembled in box and is ready to use. I would recommend that you use the skewer that comes with it. It fits the trainer quite nicely. The trainer is very quiet. | So my fluid trainer is a couple of years old now. For the first couple of "off-seasons", I really enjoyed it. But it slowly grew noisier. Finally, just a couple of days ago, I burned out the chrome cylinder that the rear wheel rides on. Come to find out, that I know of one other person that had this identical problem! | This product does indeed do what it is supposed to do. It was definitely larger than I expected, but it makes no real difference. And indeed, they could have placed some numbers or something to indicate the angle increments, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I'll give it high points for durability, though. |

| Overall, its size is definitely a plus for an apartment. Also, it's very quiet, though not silent (I can watch TV without having to up the volume). It's is also heavy-duty but easy to move when I'm done with it. The resistance settings seem adequate, too.
It is a pain to adjust the height each time you set it up for a different bike or rim/tire size, but doesn't need to be readjusted if you use it again with the previous bike. Also, I don't find myself using the remote much because once I set the ... Read More: |

| I like the mat, seems very durable and of good quality; though it's a little pricey (that's why 4 stars instead of 5). I purchased this mat intending to use it on my hardwood floor to help dampen noise from the trainer|bike, but ended up placing the trainer in a room with a rug. I still use the mat in order to catch any oil or crud that may drip from my bike, but have found that the trainer doesn't stay flat on the rug -- it tends to slip a little bit and bunch up around the places where it contacts the trainer. ... | I just finished my first ride on my mag trainer. This is my first trainer and it gave me a decent workout for the hour I rode it. The only negative that I have is the noise. This being my first trainer I have nothing to compare the noise to. |
