| Its nice to see a title bring back the basics to gaming, which is fun and challenging. In an age where graphics, blood, and killing are the norm, its nice to see a company strive to do something different. This title goes back to the old school of PC gaming. Not the typical cookie cutter PC game, and you cant beat the value. |

| You may by now have heard that EA has killed Madden for the PC, and you are looking to buy a copy before it goes completely extinct. I'll keep this short and mildly enraged- Madden 2008 is the same program, but somehow with MORE bugs than 2007. How they did that I don't know. They clearly never cared about the PC game. The same stupid bugs appeared year after year, like a department store Santa with syphillus. But I bought both programs and compared them and Madden 2008 is now in the garbage. ... Read More: |

| Got this since a friend want to beat me at CC3... Installed it on an older computer just to find out the video card was supported... Moved it to a new system and problems with the Audio... Fixed with a driver update..
Other then that, the game is great... Haven't had enough time to get beat yet... |

| This is a pretty good game for the Mac; it's a card game, so you get pretty much what you expect. There is a nice selection of games, so you can switch around if you get tired of one. The downside to it is some of the cornball elements like cheesy characters that want to talk and give bad one liners during game play. Fortunately you can disable that. The graphics are also a little low grade, and the dealing of the cards is a little slow for my taste in some instances, like when playing spades or poker. ... Read More: |

| I bought it for my kids 9 and 11. My 11 year old liked it but my 9 year old thought that the exercies were too hard and activities are not fun. He likes his sponge bob typing cd better. |

| The "Tile Games" in this edition are a lot of fun. What's nice is there are several ways to play them. Our 19 year-old grandson enjoyed it so much, I had to order him one, too. What we liked the most was the "Slide Tiles." It's very addictive. Rummy Squares is also a good one. Any "Seniors" out there would enjoy this, but it's also fun for the teenagers. My recommendation is Go For It.!

| If it weren't for this acceleration package I'd still be going nuts trying to download the dam thing - 30 hours by modum, IF You're ISP don't shut You off before then, just to have the download fail to some "ERROR" from Microsoft Games Solutions..! As usual, the more Microsoft "Updates & Improves" their products the worse they get..! | I've used Quicken for at least a decade. I was forced to upgrade from Quicken 2005 because Intuit nukes the online banking feature in older versions. It left me little choice as I've become dependent on online banking. There was a rebate on 2008 so it was cheaper than an older version, plus I can expect that this version will nuke itself in three to four years as well and I want the most for my dollar.
I'm running a 3ghz dual core machine with 4gb of ram and a 512mb video card and this program is slow. Every entry is followed ... Read More: |
