| I'm trying to learn Swahili as I'm going off to Tanzania for 3 months. "Teach yourself Swahili" is really helpful for learning the language. Both the CD and book parts are good and compliment one another. Apart from learning vocabulary, the book teaches how the language is put together and the audio dialogues are useful for putting this knowledge into understanding. | i'm not sure if it was just me or what, but all three computers i have tried it on, it didn't work very well. it crashed constantly. i got around it by saving my game a lot, but it was still annoying. if you look beyond the crashing, it is pretty fun, but it also installed without sound. given the fact that it is so cheap, i think it would be worth while for you to try it, but beware the potential bugs. |

| My daughter loves the Animal Field Trip game and the Arts and Crafts game. The Fundamentals game isn't as interesting for her - but it is probably a bit over her head (she is only 3). The Pet Playground game is horrible! There are only 2 games available - you have to play them many times just to buy a pet and then many more times to buy anything more for your pet (such as food, grooming supplies, etc). | I'm headed to Europe later this winter on business for a month and wanted to learn some basics to help me get by. Even if you're obviously an American, I've found if you make an effort, the locals treat you a lot better. I'm headed to Southern France, Spain and then up to Germany, so I got all three languages. | This product is a great teaching aid to the Microsoft Office Suite of products. It walks you right through the basics and more advanced areas of each product. It even quizes you at the end of chapters to make sure you are retaining what you have learned.

| Kaplan normally does a very good job with review materials. This one seems like it was hastily made and not updated very recently. It's still a good product, deserving of a good rating. It certainly addresses the right subject material, but I would like to see a name like Kaplan provide a more dynamic user experience. |

| This is a great learning CD. Kids learn while playing. My 4 year old grandson, who never sits still, actually sat and played this for over 2 hours. He loves it. My daughter was in shock. I would highly recommend this CD. |

| It looks good and runs fine under XP. However, there are no helps or hints. You have to find every object to move on. We can't find one of the hidden things, and without even a guess of where it is, the game is now worthless. |

| I bought this software for my 18 month old daughter... It took her a little while to figure out the mouse, but she was never bored while she learned. She is now just over 2 and has mastered all the games on both the Baby and Toddler segments.. She still loves Mattie and Reader Rabbit. I also bought 2 of the baby and toddler Sesame Street tiles... They are not as easy to learn since they require the child to use either the mouse OR the keybord, no game uses both, and these games bore her. I highly recommend ... Read More: |
