| Initially I was very excited about my purchase but when I received it and realized it was too much for my older computer, I was very disappointed.
I thought that when I first read about it, the computer needs should have been spelled out more clearly. Thank you. |

| I have been typing for many years, and have know the basics of touch typing, although I have not been able to apply them; so I have been unable to type without looking at the keyboard. One obvious problem with this being that I would not notice mistakes until long after they were made. So I finally decided to do something about it; Mavis Beacon to the rescue!

| It is hard for an educational program to compete with the likes of Mario.
That said, my 12 year old likes this program and has been using it without groans. That is saying a good bit! He likes the SpongeBob TV show, but I was a bit concerned that this program would be too 'young' for him. For the price though, I thought I'd give it a try and pass it on to a younger niece if it didn't work out for us. That was a needless worry, because he took to it right off. | I've had this I Spy for a long time. I played it a lot and had a lot of fun, and I still like to play it once in a while. My favorite level is "Block City After the Paper Hurricane". I like it because it's the most challenging level of all of the Block Cities, and I like challenges! My Mom thinks the I Spy books and computer games are a great value for the money, because my friends and I play them over and over, and the images are spectacular! |

| This is a pretty neat program, even for adults. We used it to introduce our nephew to touch typing and he made a lot of progress in two weeks, after he got past the not so intuitive opening bits. [Best to just jump past them.] Then I tried it to touch up my own typing skills -- worked well. The "kids stuff" is sort of fun once you get to a certain age, and the key thing is the keyboard exercise. |

| This was a great started program for my 4 year old. I am a new homeschooler and wasn't sure where to start. My son absolutely loved this program and actually asked to do school everyday! It is easy to understand and even my 2 year old likes to watch his older brother play the games. It has really been a great teaching resource. We have purchased the next three discs and all of them are great! |

| As an encyclopedia, it does a great job. At this price you get absolutely a great amount of and CORRECT knowledge. Dictionary, atlas, timelines and online updates are all good features.
I'm not a fun of BrainStormer, but that's fine. As a simple database + search software, sometimes taking up ~60% CUP power on my laptop with a 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo is unbearable. The skin looks nice but I can't read the words on the tag. Searching is slow, not sure it's due to the graphic or the searching ... Read More: |

Included is what appears to be a good program for learning Excell. Each program is a bit different from the others in the way it is 'installed' and in using it. Although geared more towards high school students, a serious adult will have no trouble with this.
