| I am 8 years old. I got math evolver for my birthday. this game is fun for learning math. I get to shoot the guardians with my EMP blaster. In mission number three called "The Valley" I go up to the top of really tall towers with green lights at the top and I get into these turrets, and I over load guardian's shields. its kind of scary because in the fifth mission, the building's so dark. | I can remember playing this game and others by the same company as a child and this was one of my favorites. Granted this game is a bit antiquated when compared to all the new software out there, but it helps children to learn and excel in problem solving. |

| clunky, not mac friendly, poor vocab, fake "total immersion" (basically just people having brainless conversations that are too fast for beginners and too insipid for intermediaries). Berlitz has a really bad reputation and it's easy to see why when you receive this kind of product in the mail.
I work in a school where we receive dozens of products to sample every month. Berlitz (aside from the really old editions, from the 1950's) is always the worst. |

The idea of such a program is good. The programs fails miserably. If you have never touched a computer you may get some really basic intruction, therefore I have generously awarded two stars. The problem is with the funtioning of the course. At least half of the exercises do not work for either the correct nor incorrect responses. | I got this to goof around with and to consider letting my 3-year-old daughter play with. The program is probably too advanced for my daughter, though I'm sure it's usable by some 4 and 5 year olds (it's recommended for ages 6 to 9). But I find it pretty fun, and it seems like, even for an adult, a good first step toward using Sony's Acid products. So I recommend it, but with reservations.
