Software : Freddi Fish 2: Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse - XP Compatible (Jewel Case)
This is a great game for the children to play and use memory skills and logic skills. It is challenging at least for the first time or two and after that, they at least older children remember all the hiding places and shortcuts. I recomment it highly.

This is a great learning CD. Kids learn while playing. My 4 year old grandson, who never sits still, actually sat and played this for over 2 hours. He loves it. My daughter was in shock. I would highly recommend this CD.

Software : I Spy Fantasy [Old Version]
It looks good and runs fine under XP. However, there are no helps or hints. You have to find every object to move on. We can't find one of the hidden things, and without even a guess of where it is, the game is now worthless.

Software : Reader Rabbit Playtime for Baby and Toddler
I bought this software for my 18 month old daughter... It took her a little while to figure out the mouse, but she was never bored while she learned. She is now just over 2 and has mastered all the games on both the Baby and Toddler segments.. She still loves Mattie and Reader Rabbit. I also bought 2 of the baby and toddler Sesame Street tiles... They are not as easy to learn since they require the child to use either the mouse OR the keybord, no game uses both, and these games bore her. I highly recommend ... Read More:

85.Dr. Seuss ABC from: The Learning Company
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Software : Dr. Seuss ABC
Bought the ABC and Green Eggs and Ham cds (they came as a set). Could not load GE&H on my hubby's laptop (running XP) without hanging, so we tried my desktop (running Vista). It loaded, and runs, but continues to hang on occasion. ABC is worse; we can't get past the letter B before it hangs. Both computers have more then enough RAM, OS are listed as compatible, etc. It gets one star 'cause we can run GE&H most of the time, and my 3 1/2 yr old LURVES it.

I bought this game, not having played the Nancy Drew games before. I'd read the books as a child, and the games are good extentsion of that. This game was fun, and enjoyable. It has a good storyline, lots of puzzles, and quite good graphics. It wasn't easy to complete, took a week or so, but I had fun while I was working out the puzzles, and exploring many parts of the Nancy Drew world. I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys computer games, especially girls.

Jumpstart World is one of those games for kids that make me remember back to my childhood. I'm a big videogame player and growing up i recall playing learning games in school like Math Blaster, or Oregon Trail. I got the chance to demo JumpStart World and wow, i'm just blown away. Educational games for kids have come such a long way from when i was in school playing them. Theres just so much content for kids to tackle, math, spelling, arts and crafts, owning pets, and just exploring the world. I think that's the best ... Read More:

Software : ClueFinders 4th Grade Adventures: Puzzle of the Pyramid
My daughter enjoyed it very much, but reached the adventure goal in about a week. She'll play it again, but it's not as captivating for her now. The level of difficulty of the educational part of the adventure did not seem to progress as well (i.e., as widely) as their 3rd grade adventure.

Software : Reader Rabbit Personalized 2nd Grade A.D.A.P.T. (Jewel Case)
This took a 30-year-old mom and her 13-year-old son approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete. We are extremely proud of ourselves, despite being a bit chagrined at having kicked out the actual 2nd grader for whom it was bought. She lost 30 points from my character, which just could not be allowed.
It really is very educational and challenging for the grade level. Aside from the many trap door pitfalls, there are also math and language arts hurdles to jump, swing, or run through.
My son and I recommend this game for people ... Read More:
