| This program has really delighted my 12 year old, and I have also used it, and I've enjoyed it too! It is so easy to use, and just engages you in writing so quickly. I think the parts that my daughter likes most are the diary (which she locks with a password) developing characters with the wizard and the fact that she can quickly write a short story and print it out with its own cover. | I have played a lot of other Barbie games and so I got this one since it had some good reviews. I found this game pretty boring and very easy though I think I'm a bit older than the age it is supposed to be geared for.
My younger sister who is the right age did not find the game interesting but she has liked other barbie games such as Barbie diaries: High School Mystery, and Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper which are fun games were you can dress up barbie and make her do all the sorts ... Read More: |

| I'm very disappointed in this product. I'm a homeschooler who wanted her children to learn a second language. Little did I know navigating through this program you would need a computer class just to figure it out. We've had this for over a month & although we did figure out how to use it eventually I don't think the program was worth all the hassle. |

| I'm a cop and my son loves firemen (go figure) and this game really makes him feel like he's "on a call". My son is 3 1/2 with a basic knowledge of how to use the mouse and he has a blast on this game. The graphics are outstanding for a kids game and the missions or "calls" are simplistic yet challenging. When my son finishes a mission we can print out a certificate to hang on the fridge which he thinks is very cool. Now if I can only make him think police officers are just as cool.....

| The concept here fills a great childhood need for creation. My grandson at seven spends hours building crazy contraptions and cool cars out of the junk with Gary Gadget and Freddy Ferrick. I only wish they had a free style option where the kids could do as they do as they please because at times it gets a tad frustrating when they're constantly sent back because they need different tires to get through the mud or they run out of gas or their vehicle is too heavy for the bridge. | I bought this for my son (headed into 5th grade) for summer practice. He loved it! He was on it constantly till he finished it. I was impressed. The software makes them think through some abstract and multi-step math. He wanted me to help him (do some for him) so he could get the "tiles" and move on with the story. I wouldn't (defeat the purpose) The game is good at "sucking them in" and motivating them to stick with it to figure it out so they can get the "tiles" and continue the story.
