| I bought this after reading these reviews hoping for a fun new game for my 2 year old. He has already mastered the mouse, colors, numbers, alphabet & has several other preschool games.
This game is absolutely dull. The graphics are great, but it only holds his attention for a few minutes. The problem is that each section takes too long to load. | Another day, another mystery for Nancy Drew. In this one, Nancy is leaving the US to visit England and an old friend, Linda who has recently married. | They game itself is pretty cool. My 5 year old loves the seek and find. However, if you have a newer MAC - game is not for you. I believe it runs @ 800X 640, freaks out things in my experience. Numerous times, locked entier MBP requiring restart every time. I also have it installed on XP - works better. |

| I purchased this program for my seven year old daughter. She is only going into second grade but loves a good challange. In some areas (fractions/measurements) it is over her head, but she is learning a lot and I have to drag her away from the computer when she is playing this game. She is on level one now and I think it will entertain and educate her for at least another year as she moves to higher levels.

| I think this is a strong program. It has many useful sentences and phrases, and it pounds them into your brain. My only complaint is that its a little too easy in the beginning. I have only studied some spanish on my own, and I never used the first level of Rosetta. So if you know even a little bit of spanish, I wouldn't purchase level 1. It's probably too easy. | I got this pc game when my grandson was 3. He is now almost 6 and he still digs it out when he comes over. His 3 year old sister now enjoys it too. Of course she needs help but she loves the mermaid adventure and the princess adventure. I also have I Spy Spooky Mansion and they love that one too. I even find the games fun to play. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoys them, as well. This is great quality time for parents or grandparents and I highly recommend it. I am looking into buying more Scholastic CD ... Read More: |

| We had this CD for my 9yr old when he was little. Ended up throwing it away because it kept getting stuck in the middle of play. We liked some of the games in it, so I purchased this again for my 2yr old in the newer updated version thinking it would be better. The reviews I read stated that even if your little one cant use a mouse, just the keyboard will make things work. Well, dont know about anyone elses 2yr old, but mine is punch happy on the keyboard and kept locking things up and exiting the game if he hit ... Read More: |
