| This is a terrific way to learn a new language-- its absolutely amazing! I purchased Rosetta Stone Chinese Level 1 ( with Audio Companion) to learn the basics before a trip. The software arrived last Friday, I installed it on Sunday PM, and started the lessons immediately after that. What I liked best:

| I just bought this and I recommend this highly to parents of preschoolers. I feel safe knowing I can walk away from the computer and my daughter is not only having fun but learning too. |

| I bought this game, not having played the Nancy Drew games before. I'd read the books as a child, and the games are good extentsion of that. This game was fun, and enjoyable. It has a good storyline, lots of puzzles, and quite good graphics. It wasn't easy to complete, took a week or so, but I had fun while I was working out the puzzles, and exploring many parts of the Nancy Drew world. I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys computer games, especially girls. |

| My children loved the adventure game so much that they were willing to do the math required to solve the puzzles. It made a great review for them to use over the summer.
They even wanted to play the game again after finishing it the first time. |

| Could not get it to install on computer. Have XP, lots of Ram and have installed over 20 other games with no problems! And hard drive still has 80% free space. |

| My kids love this. My son is in 2nd grade and immediately got addicted to the games. I also like the reports that Jump Start sends to tell me what he worked on. That service is new. I have used J.S. software for a long time and have found it good but not great. Anything that gets my kids having fun learning is a winner. My 6th grade daughter also likes the games and plays them for fun. She likes how you can unlock new things to do during the game as well as earn "gems" to decorate your cabin similar to ... | I wish I could give this zero stars. Aside from containing some errors, it is full of activities that will dull your child's mind. Just a couple of examples:
* The "art" section (sounds cool, eh?) contains pre-drawn pictures that you can scribble on with a pencil, or fill in regions with a paint bucket. Nothing else. This is a waste of money for anyone who already has Microsoft Paint, and does nothing to advance your child's knowledge of or appreciation for art, or ability to draw, or to do anything ...
