| I bought this item for a Christmas gift for my son. A total waste of money. He had difficulty downloading and no help for MAC. I keep asking him why he wastes his time and money on MAC products but....
The worse part of this is that it could not be returned. I'll never buy another MAC product without assurance that it can be returned for a full refund. |

| I got my wife and daughter DRAGON (the PC I-listen equivalent). They have been using it with pleasure since.
My "I-listen" began well -- I read it several of the texts to familiarise it with my voice. On dictation, it produced fluent gibberish. I re-loaded, taught it again (reading virtually all of the texts. Again, more fluent gibberish. Embarrased husband, pointedly tolerant wife and daughter. | I-listen is the most frustrating piece of soft-ware I bought in years. The documentation is insufficient and the program does not perform well at all. It produces garbled sentences and the correction function is impossible to use. To compare, I read the same sentences to a free web-based program that converts to email voice notes that you leave via your cell phone. This latter program had a 100% accuracy, I-listen produced only word salad. Stay away from I-listen. |

| I am the disappointed one who equated iListen with my ex-wife.
MacSpeech helped me arrange a second marriage with their new produce, DICTATE. In brief, I am wowed and amazed. It gets complex technical psychiatric terms and phrases. I find myself challenging it as though I am a host on a game show and it is going after a million bucks. Aside from a few forgivable limitations, such as spelling numbers, I am in love.
