| I have been using Intuit products since Quicken first came out for my business. They are a great low end accounting product. Very user friendly and they are able to manage larger companies all the time.
Support with Intuit has always been expensive and now is NOT domestic. With the purchase of the 2008 Quickbooks you get free 30 day support for your start-up. | I upgraded from Quicken Deluxe 2003 to Quicken Premier 2004. I won't address whether or not I think the 2003-2004 upgrade was worth it. What I am addressing is that I don't think the Deluxe-Premier upgrade was worth the extra cost.
Premier gets you some portfolio analysis tools and "insights", which I don't find that helpful (I am not an active or sophisticated investor). As an aside, I -do- think the Deluxe features (over Basic) are worth the extra money. Deluxe gets you investment ... Read More: |

| I enjoy this product, but had some issues in setting it up. It seems to be essential to link to the internet and your banking sites, but my bank seems to tell me that it will cost additional high costs to do this. That's a bit frustrating. I'll have to keep playing with it. |

| I wrote ckecks that have dissapeared from the check register. After reading the previous reviews of this program, I can understand why. |

| The installation is tedious and non-obvious. Moreover there is no succinct description in the documentation as to how to migrate files from version 2001. The default installation script for Windows XP did not function without some modification. And Norton Personal firewall must be turned off, while down loading all the patches and up-dates of which there are many. | I had purchase the simple start a year ago and it was easy to use, this version does not come with the flow chart system and has a lot of stuff that I don't need or want. Plus the banking doesn't work with Wells Fargo so that leave the 10 million of us banking with Wells fargo in the dark. |
