| I couldn't even get this program to run. Actually, it did run on my Mac under a different username -- one with virtually nothing else installed -- but wouldn't work under my username. Calls to support were useless. I got the usual drone-type replies where they were obviously copying-and-pasting some responses that had little or nothing to do with my problem and generally didn't even relate to my operating system (OS X).

| I too was forced to upgrade to 2008 from quicken 2005 because they were discontinuing support of bank updates, etc.
After 13 years with the software, I have never had a problem with an upgrade until now. There are bugs in the software that have caused my accounts from 2006 to be unreconciled (they were fine before the upgrade). Quicken ignored my first two contacts with support (I have them two months to respond each time). I finally sat for 90 minutes with a "chat consultant" who did not understand ... Read More: |

| Works great, we really liked it. Pretty easy to use, just have everything organized prior to starting. Some people complain that you have to buy a new version every year, but compared to the cost of paying our accountant every year we will happily pay for this. |

| I've used all sorts of PC software for more than 20 years, and Quicken is without a doubt the lowest quality commercial software available. It's really quite terrifying, because if you use Quicken for a number of years, it ends up holding all of your financial data, which is vital for investing and taxes. How would you like this precious data held hostage by an unbearably slow, bloated, and buggy program?

| Customer manager is great for organizing your clients. Like it cause you can create notes and history files about each client, schedules, has a calender built in, syncs great with Quickbooks Pro. The merge contact features is also helpful. Managing client data couldn't be easier. Only draw back is we would like it to start up faster or have a smaller footprint on the system. So we could quickly add something without the whole program starting up. Maybe its wishful thinking. Overall a great product. |

| I ordered TurboTax Federal and unlike last year this comes WITHOUT state. When I attempted to load state the product prompted for an ADDITIONAL $34.95. So I contacted them by e-mail (twice), on-line help (twice), and phone (twice). Guess what? Three of the six inquiries were something like "well the states are not available yet but they'll be free", two were "look at our website for descriptions of the product" which I'd BEEN using for years, and the last was it was all a mixup and it was "not free."
