| I have been using Turbo Tax product since 1997. Last year 2005 tax return after I had e-filed, I got an IRS notice/fine for underpayment of estimated tax. I payed this amount and wrote to Turbo Tax about their 100% Gurantee and interest, on any IRS fines. Nothing happened and I never got any money back. So if you depend on this claim, be sure you will not get anything back...or you will have to really run after it to get anything back. I tried contacting them through Online CHAT. | This would probably be a good product if you could get support. I am having problems with several features and have tried to get support. I was told by the automated service to enter my credit card number - did this - then told to wait on the phone for an hour to speak to someone. did not do this. One would think when you spend [this much money] for software it would work out of the box, and if it didn't you would get some form of free support. | IRS was calling my parents for me NOT filing on time, i did not owe any money but you HAVE to file anyway. i bought this software, loaded it up, and it picked up many of my investments' interest, dividends and my W-2 automatically online. this made things very easy. i printed it out, sent it USPS Certified to the IRS. the whole process took about two or three days, you see i am a procrastinator, hence the IRS calling me AND my family.

| This was my first time using TT. I bought the Premier edition to be able to handle my ESPP, NQSO and ISO options and to compute my AMT which (this is the first year I've been hit by that). BTW, on the topic of company stock plans, I strongly recommend Kaye Thomas' book "Consider Your Options". TT made the process go a little faster except for all the time I spent on online chats and on phone tech support calls to eventually learn that TT could not support my situation without hacking my numbers or moving transations into different ... | Buying this software was the worst financial decision I have ever made. My accounts are so messed up by now that I'm on the verge of starting over, thus losing nearly ten years of historical data. With Quicken 2000 my account balances were reconciled to the absolute penny. I always knew where my finances, but now I don't trust anything I see. I wish I'd never laid eyes on this software. |

| I did my taxes in less than 2 hours and I had stocks to enter. This does a nice question and answer thing and gets easier to use each year that I use it. Great product. |
